Mocha Rose Lip Balm = awesome

If you're still on the hunt for last minute holiday gifts or affordable stocking stuffers, you should consider giving goodies from the Rosebud Perfume Company. All Rosebud products are paraben, phthalate, and sulfate free. The simple packaging is very practical, and I love the vintage, old-timey feel of the cute little tins.

While sifting through the random contents of a Chicago fashion week swag bag, I found a Mocha Rose Lip Balm from Rosebud buried at the bottom. Rosebud Salve, already cult favorite of skin-care junkies, can be used as a healing moisturizer on chapped lips, dry hands, cuts, scrapes, or anywhere else your skin needs a little kick of TLC. It is often a staple in makeup artists kits, so it stands to reason that Rosebud's lip balms would be just as fantastic.
I've been using the Mocha Rose ever since that night, and never leave the house without it anymore. Shea butter, vitamin E, and essential oils make this product a must-have for flaky winter lips. The formula is moist and soft, not greasy or sticky, and leaves your lips with a slightly dewy finish. My lips stay soft for hours after the shine is gone, and they haven't been chapped at all since the weather turned cold. The Mocha Rose scent is like rich cocoa, with a hint of coffee, but doesn't overpower. Although it does have a rosy pink color in the tin, it shows up colorless on the lips.

You can purchase the Rosebud Perfume Company Lip Balms at Blue Mercury or Sephora for about 7 dollars. However, you may as well pony up the 16 dollars for the Rosebud SET, which includes two full size lip balms and a full size of the multipurpose Rosebud Salve. This would make a great holiday gift for anyone.
