This luxurious lipstick is available in several variations on the iconic brand's signature colors: red, orange, and fuschia. Rouge Pur Couture also delivers encapsulated hydration and SPF 15, with serious color payoff that stays true for hours.
The creamy formula is not at all greasy or sticky, and contains the most intense pigment in the entire YSL lip collection. It is definitely worth the thirty dollars, so do not feel any guilt about trashing your lip-drying, 12-hour lipstick from the drugstore for an upgrade.
The range of vibrant colors includes shades to compliment any skin tone. Anyone looking for a perfectly true red will LOVE the supremely vivid red #1. If you were addicted to Shu Uemura's RD 165, which is no longer available in department stores, I recommend this as the next best thing! Professional makeup artists and casual makeup addicts will love #12 blanc (a pearly white) and #18 noir laque (deep blackberry). Both are edgy and sophisticated when worn alone, but are also made to be layered with any colors in the collection to alter the intensity.
